My Story

A passion for beauty, combined with many years of experience in management, marketing, and branding, has found its expression in Thestylecup.ro – a place where we can share a cup of coffee or tea, exchange ideas, learn new things, experiment, and look at life through the lens of the five fundamental elements—and beyond.

I chose the symbol of a steaming cup of coffee or tea, with its delicate, warm vapor that sometimes invites conversation, but also introspection, when we seek peace within ourselves.

Each of us has a unique style, just as our inner and outer expressions are unique—an original imprint revealed through what we do and who we are. This personal expression becomes even clearer the more we know ourselves. So, let’s discover together—over an open, honest, and, why not, amusing conversation!

How I Discovered Fashion Feng Shui

How I Discovered Fashion Feng Shui That’s where I first saw elegance, luxury, and glamour—concepts that, to my child’s mind, felt distant and aspirational. When foreign magazines finally appeared at Romanian newsstands, I became a loyal reader of the Italian editions of Amica and Vitality, which I still keep today, amazed at how relevant they remain.

A certain idea of lifestyle elegance—both of thought and appearance—became part of who I am. I resonated with it wherever I caught a glimpse of it and nurtured it, both inwardly and outwardly. And even though life led me onto the intense, demanding, and sometimes stressful path of entrepreneurship, this idea of beauty and harmony has always been close to me and part of everything I do.

Since 2003, I have been studying Chinese martial arts and the philosophy behind them. My journey has taken me all the way to China, where I learned and experienced so much. The stretching and warm-up movements typical of these practices have long become part of my daily routine— if I skip them for a few days, my body immediately lets me know

I am a great admirer of authentic beauty—expressed calmly, gracefully, and harmoniously. This concept led me to explore the essence of beauty in many directions. That’s how I moved from fashion to Fashion Feng Shui—from the dream of becoming a fashion designer to the idea of creating “inner-size clothing,” as I used to call it before discovering that someone had already translated these ancient Chinese principles into the language of color, texture, and form.

In parallel, my work as a journalist in the specialized press brought both challenges and fulfillment. I learned, in a very concrete way, what marketing, communication, and branding mean in a turbulent market. I experienced the financial crisis, the so-called “death of print,” and the era of mass layoffs—the same time when we fought daily to keep the business running and pay the team for one more month. Those struggles stole many nights from me, but looking back, I can now appreciate and deeply understand life in ways that only contrast can reveal. As they say, light is best seen when set against darkness, isn’t it?

The Style Cup

One of the calmest moments of my day is early in the morning, before the rush begins. The first thing I do is enjoy a cup of tea, filling my senses with quiet. Watching the rising steam is, by far, the most meaningful moment of the day for me—it’s the time when I consciously give myself permission to just be. It’s the space between what has not yet begun and what is about to start—the moment when the day feels wonderfully fresh and full of possibility, like a path branching out in multiple directions, some familiar, others surprising. That is why I named this online meeting place The Style Cup—the cup of life we each hold, filled with the unique blend that defines us. Let’s savor it and live it as beautifully, gracefully, and meaningfully as we can.

Image Consulting and Its Practical Meaning

In my life I have searched a lot and had many teachers. Some life brought me close, others I searched for. From the school of life, to theoretical and practical courses, I have always moved towards
knowing and integrating within myself the real, balanced life – the
golden path. I have studied in Romania, as well as in China, the UK, France, the United Arab Emirates. I have learned both from Romanians and from teachers of other nationalities, broadening my
understanding and vision of life. I continue to do this.

Through everything I learn, search and do, I want to aspire and inspire personal and professional growth, which go hand in hand and intertwine, for a meaningful life.
